Rep. Carlos Gimenez Signs Taxpayer Protection Pledge Committing to Oppose Tax Hikes

Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) congratulates Rep. Carlos Gimenez on his recent signing of the Taxpayer Protection Pledge. As a congressional signer of The Pledge, Gimenez makes a bold written commitment to his constituents to oppose and vote against all tax increases. 

“I will never support increasing taxes on mom-and-pop shops and hardworking, middle-class Americans,” said Representative Gimenez. 

The impact of Democrat-backed policies have crippled American workers, small businesses, consumers, and the economy as a whole. Voters have finally had enough, electing candidates prioritizing pro-growth policies that hold the line on taxes and strengthen economic opportunities for Americans. 

There are currently 189 Pledge signers in the U.S. House and 42 Pledge signers in the U.S. Senate. 85% of Congressional Republicans have signed The Pledge and put into writing their commitment to oppose tax increases, contrasting the ZERO congressional Democrats who have made this commitment.
