From every logical presentation that I have read and understand, we are killing ourselves with our tax system. This country could absolutely prosper with a system like the fair-tax-plan. I simply do not understand the resistance to it. Of course, we would have to live in accordance with what we take in, but that is the design of every home, church, school, business, etc ... so why not the government.

Originally it was 'No Taxation without Representation' today it should be "No Representation without Taxation"! Originally many only wanted property owners to vote. Maybe its time to revise the code or better yet eliminate it for a flat tax that 'EVERYONE' pays.

We do not have government by legislation any more. We have government by litigation!! There are 14 lawyers for every citizen of Washington DC. We are not our own masters any more. Within 50 years the Amereican Constitutions will be a dead letter unless we act now to jerk governments chain.
