Gov. Jerry Brown is urging your representative in the legislature to put tens of billions of dollars in job-killing tax increases on the statewide ballot. The fact is that spending in Sacramento is out of control and Golden State residents already cope with one of the highest tax burdens in the world. Rather than fix the state’s overspending problem, Gov. Jerry Brown wants to extend job-killing tax increases that were supposed to be temporary. The deadline for action is fast approaching.  As such, I encourage you to contact your representative in Sacramento today and urge that they vote “NO” on any bill that would raise taxes or refer higher taxes to the ballot. The time is now for principled lawmakers to take a stand to protect the heavily-burdened taxpayers of California.
