Americans for Tax Reform asks that you stand with us and urge the Maryland General Assembly to oppose Governor O’Malley’s tax laden executive budget.

Gov. O’Malley’s budget would raise the income tax on 1 in 5 Marylanders, impose a “flush tax” increase on water and sewage usage, increase taxes on cigars and other tobacco products by 70-percent at the wholesale level, and expand the state’s sales tax to internet sales and gasoline.

Lawmakers in Annapolis don’t seem to understand that Maryland has a spending problem not a revenue problem. It is imperative that you reach out to your representatives today and urge them to reject Gov. O’Malley’s budget. Use the contact form below to write your Delegate and State Senator.
