Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi used gilded ceremonial pens during her “somber” signing of the impeachment articles. Pelosi had promised not to celebrate but smiled and laughed as she awarded the pens to her Democrat colleagues.
Even CNN described the incident as “jarring” and “unusual.”
