Americans for Tax Reform’s Director of Budget and Regulatory Policy, Mattie Duppler, appeared on Fox Business’s “Cavuto,” hosted by Neil Cavuto, to discuss the President’s response to the VA scandal. An excerpt from her remarks is below.

“It’s emblematic of what the President stands for. Looking at the VA, it’s this huge bureaucracy- when we’re looking at the spending that was happening in Arizona, it was all in administrative costs. The head of the department there was getting bonuses. What this is is a look at what big government looks like, and what that does. It obscures where money’s going and it also has no interest in improving services- it has interest in keeping people on the government payroll.”

Americans for Tax Reform’s Director of Budget and Regulatory Policy, Mattie Duppler, appeared on Fox Business’s “Cavuto,” hosted by Neil Cavuto, to discuss the future of the Tea Party in light of the recent Republican primaries. An excerpt of her remarks is below.

“Look at what’s happening on Capitol Hill- we are finally looking at a federal government that’s shrinking. That’s something we haven’t seen in the past 60 years to the effect that we’re seeing it today. We need to move away from people saying it’s never good enough, to saying, ‘we are winning, how do we win more?’ And that’s the question the Tea Party needs to be asking.”

Americans for Tax Reform’s Director of Budget and Regulatory Policy, Mattie Duppler, appeared on Fox Business’s “Cavuto,” hosted by Neil Cavuto, to discuss recent reports showing that while education spending has increased, test scores have not.  An excerpt of her remarks is below.

“I’m a proud Wisconsinite, and what Scott Walker did in Wisconsin could save taxpayers millions that could be used for education.”

Americans for Tax Reform’s Director of Budget and Regulatory Policy, Mattie Duppler, appeared on Fox Business’s “Cavuto,” hosted by Neil Cavuto, to discuss fast food workers protesting to raise the minimum wage.  An excerpt of her remarks is below.

“You know what’s even more unequal- the thing that’s going to happen if we hike the minimum wage to $10.10. The Congressional Budget Office already told us exactly what’s going to happen- we’re going to lose 500,000 to 1,000,000 jobs. “
