With the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold Obamacare, you may have noticed that President Obama’s central campaign promise – a “firm pledge” that Americans making less than $250,000 would not see “any form of tax increase.”- has been shattered. The Supreme Court has decided that Obamacare is constitutional and the individual mandate is a tax, which means Obamacare contains 20 tax increases – several of which violate his “firm pledge”.
