“We’ve seen time and time again, any time the government forces us to adopt more of a renewable energy standard, whether it be an actual mandate in the form of 50-by-30, or some sort of a subsidy program, we’ve seen the power rates for everybody start to climb,” Nevada Policy Research Institute’s Michael Schaus on Nevada and Arizona renewable energy mandate ballot measures on ATR’s Swamp to the States podcast.
