Another way of saying this would be: Taxpayers win big. State bureaucracy attempts to avoid any impact from the recession, at the expense of struggling citizens, and fails.’
 
“President Obama made a lot of promises about taxes and fiscal responsibility. Now the question remains, will he keep them?”
 
That question does not truly remain. The new question is ‘how bad will he break them?’
