The claim by the White House and DNC that a majority of Americans are right wing crazies–because they want to keep their health insurance and don’t want to pay higher taxes and fees to provide health care as a welfare entitlement to others–reads like an Onion headline: "The 57% of Americans who criticize me are a disgruntled fringe minority."
“’Grover Norquist, president of the conservative Americans for Tax Reform, said the protests are the result of real public anger at Democratic proposals. He said he encourages his members to attend town-hall meetings — and arms them with suggested questions.
