State Rep. Ron Young to push for resolution calling on Ohio\’s Senators and Congressmen to vote for the Bush economic plan.

WASHINGTON – Americans for Tax Reform, the nation\’s leading taxpayer advocacy group, announced today that their State Projects Manager, Karen Bailey, will appear with State Rep. Ron Young (R-Leroy Twp.) and local activists at a rally in Mentor, Ohio.

The rally will support House Concurrent Resolution 7, a resolution calling on Ohio\’s Senators and Congressmen to support and vote for President Bush\’s Tax Reform and Economic Growth plan. According to economists, the President\’s plan would create nearly two million new jobs in the next two years, boost the stock market and economic growth, and start to improve the budget outlook of Ohio and other states. But the President\’s plan is currently stalled in the U.S. Senate.
