Bozeman Tea Party supporters turned up the heat on the City Commission last Monday and were granted the permit to close down Main Street for the Bozeman Independence Day Tea Party.   The strength in numbers, the clarity of our presentations and an email and phone call campaign convinced the City Commission to vote 4-1 in favor of granting us a permit.

Tea Party supporters include the wide range of Center-Right organizations and activists as well as a groundswell of political newcomers.   The April 15 Tax Day Tea Party drew over 700 people despite near blizzard conditions.   Organizers hope to attract up to 2,000 for the July 4 events.
