ATR president Grover Norquist and Center for Worker Freedom (CWF) Executive Director Matt Patterson discuss the state of right-to-work in Missouri in Episode 38 of The Grover Norquist Show.

25 States are already right-to-work states and activists were hoping to add Missouri to this column after both the Republican-controlled House and Senate passed legislation. While Democrat Governor Jay Nixon vetoed the bill, Republicans held a supermajority in both chambers and so theoretically they had the numbers to override this veto. Unfortunately, eight union-supported Republicans succeeded in killing right-to-work.

Despite this disappointing setback, CWF, ATR and others will continue the fight for workers’ rights in Missouri and across the country.
