The Obama Administration is targeting Swiss banking as part of his efforts to tax everything in the known world.
“So what should the Swiss do? The experts are divided. Mitchell believes officials should diligently attend their meetings with their US counterparts, smile, nod and do nothing else.
Ryan Ellis of Americans for Tax Reform is more cautious: ‘The last thing you ever want to do if you’re dealing with a wild animal – in this case, the international tax authorities – is to poke a stick in its eye.’”

“The United States that Grover Norquist envisions is full of freedoms and transparency. Those ideas are tied together, said Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), a nonprofit lobbying organization based in Washington, D.C. Tax increases burden everyday Americans, he said.”

“To everyone who came out to the Tea Party Convention, thank you!  There were about 300 people who decided to spend their Saturday in Holt, learning about grassroots activism and what We the People can do to take back our state.  MI Fairtax won the straw poll for ballot initiatives and really did a good job getting their folks involved.  We were joined by three Candidates for Governor, Mike Cox, Pete Hoekstra, and Terri Lynn Land.  There were a few other elected officials there including Tom McMillin, who has decided to sign the Taxpayer Protection Pledge. We will be watching, Tom!  We even had a few operatives from the tax and spend crowd in the audience who provided a great case in point of what citizen journalists can do with a flip camera and courage to go into “enemy” territory.”
