Derek Hunter, Executive Director of the Media Freedom Project, explains that municipalities are manufacturing the broadband ‘problem’ in order to get their hands on Federal money.
 
Michael Williams demonstrates a firm understanding of the purpose of the Taxpayer Protection Pledge: “The spending in Washington is out of control. When I go to Washington, I want you to hold me accountable and remind me of the pledge I am making to you on this day”
 
Not all politicians can be like Mr. Williams. “Michael Moore has launched a recall effort against Valley state Sen. Roy Ashburn. No, not the liberal filmmaker. This Moore is a libertarian pharmacist from Bakersfield. Like other die-hard conservatives, he is mad at Ashburn and five other Republicans for voting for more than $12 billion in temporary tax hikes as part of the recent state budget deal.”
