A new carbon tax bill being introduced this week by Florida Democrat congressman Ted Deutch authorizes armed carbon tax enforcement agents to collect a new tax on energy used by Americans. The bill is a massive new energy tax on the American people, but in true politician-speak, it has been given the title “Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act of 2018.”
In addition to imposing a radical backdoor two-child policy, the carbon tax bill authorizes money and agents to enforce an exceedingly complex border adjustment tax scheme. The bill states:
“The revenues collected under this chapter may be used to supplement appropriations made available in fiscal years 2018 and thereafter –
“(1) to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, in such amounts as are necessary to administer the carbon border fee adjustment.”
