Californians: Do You Know Which Candidates Have Signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge?

Yesterday, Jon Fleischman of The Flash Report put California’s candidates for elected office on notice that they’ll be highlighting which candidates have signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge.

Flesichman said, “It’s that time of year when we highlight which Republicans running for statewide office, Congress, State Senate and Assembly have signed the Americans for Tax Reform No New Taxes Pledge. This is NOT about playing "gotcha" though, or catching that candidate who would have signed but hadn’t thought about it… So this is actually a "last minute warning" alert …”

 

ATR encourages all taxpayers in California to ask their candidates and representatives if they have signed the Pledge, and if the answer is anything but yes, to find out which taxes they intend increase and report it to us. Taxpayers should know where their representatives stand on the issues before they vote for them.
