Americans for Tax Reform sent the following letter (link has full text and PDF) to House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-Mich.) this week:
On behalf of Americans for Tax Reform, I write to commend your efforts this week to repeal the “1099-MISC” reporting requirements of both Obamacare and 2010’s “Small Business Jobs Act.” These paperwork reporting rules for small employers and landlords are onerous, unnecessary, and will result in a hardship for job creators. Congress should repeal them immediately, and the work of the Ways and Means Committee this week in this regard is an essential first step.
