Scott LaGanga promoted to Federal Affairs Manager; brings grassroots, federal policy expertise
WASHINGTON—Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), the nation\’s leading taxpayer advocacy group, has added another federal affairs manager to its roster of national policy experts. Scott LaGanga has been promoted from state coalitions manager to federal affairs manager, where he will focus on property rights, both intellectual and physical. The change will take effect June 1, 2005.

He will make an excellent addition to the federal affairs team at Americans for Tax Reform. He has already proved himself to the taxpayers\’ movement," said Grover Norquist, president of ATR
Mr. LaGanga holds a bachelor\’s degree in political science from the University of Maryland., College Park. He was awarded a master\’s degree after completing a program in public policy at the Bloustein School, part of Rutgers.
His federal policy experience includes work done as government affairs manager at the American Auto Dealers Association in trade and regulatory policy. Since joining ATR approximately one year ago, LaGanga has proven his effectiveness in coalition building by fostering grassroots organizations throughout the country, and in fighting for Taxpayers\’ Bills of Rights (TABOR) legislation and initiatives and referenda
