Americans for Tax Reform released the following statement upon learning of the passing of Jerry Falwell:

“He was a leader who built a university, a church, and a movement. He brought people of faith into the broader freedom coalition. People who wanted to be free and left alone to practice their faith, raise their families, run their businesses, and maintain their Second Amendment rights. The entire nation, the conservative movement, and all taxpayers extend their condolences to his family.”
