Americans for Tax Reform : Updated: How Many People Attended the Tax Day Tea Parties?

Update V: Here is the final update on attendee estimates for Tea Parties all across America last week. With your help, we have tallied over 640 and counting Tea Parties with a combined attendance of at least 615,000 and counting! Update IV: ATR has once again updated the list of Tea Parties held around the country last week. This update includes nearly 100 additional cities from all over the United States. This now brings the ever-growing total of Tea Parties to 457, with a conservative estimate of 521,177 attendees nationwide. Thanks to everyone out there visiting the site and giving us information regarding Tea Parties you were a part of! Update III: We’ve made another round of updates for everyone. This update includes an additional 75 new Tea Parties. This brings our total up to 364 Tea Parties with a conservative estimate of 449,385 people. Thank you again to everyone that continues to update us. We’re continually making edits to this list. Check back again soon for an even bigger list!

Update II: Here’s the latest estimate we have for Tea Party attendees. This is updated from the numbers we had at 9:30am this morning. We’ve now compiled 289 Tea Parties with about 360,495 attendees. Thank you again to everyone who helped us either by leaving comments or emailing us with your Tea Party numbers.

Update: We’ve included an additional 34 Tea Parties on our list. We have now 242 Tax Day Tea Parties with about 299,071 attendees. Thank you to everyone who sent us their Tea Party numbers in the comment section or by email. We’ll continue to update this as we receive more information.

ATR is working to compile an accurate number of how many people attended Tax Day Tea Parties yesterday. So far, we’ve tallied up 208 Tea Parties with roughly 271,941 attendees.
