PrintTrial Lawyer To Pretend To Take On Trial Lawyers
We have consistently argued for urgent tort reform to address healthcare costs in the U.S.
In his error-laden address to congress on Wednesday, President Obama did give a glimmer of hope by stating he understood this was a problem. And so would direct the Secretary of Health to allow a few demonstration projects proposed under the Bush Administration.
A few small demonstration projects. Oh what bold reform!
We are lucky indeed to have a Secretary of Health who will stand up to trial lawyers! And I'm sure it's something she would have a lot of expirience in. Let me just check her biography:
"Sebelius served as executive director and chief lobbyist for the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association from 1977-1986"
