The Senate this week will be voting on S. 1660. This is President Obama’s “Stimulus 2.0” plan, paid for by a surtax on incomes exceeding $1 million. This surtax will raise the tax rate at which over 40 percent of all small business profits face taxation. Over 80 percent of Americans having to pay this new surtax are small business owners. By raising taxes on small employers, this new surtax will kill jobs—all in the name of paying for another failed stimulus plan that spends our money and racks up debt.
Tell your senator to vote “no” on S. 1660 this week.
