On August 27, Ronald W. Reagan, the fortieth President of the United States, will be honored in Jacksonville, Florida. SR 9A, which runs around the east side of Jacksonville, from Interstate 95 North to Interstate 95 South, will be renamed the "Ronald W. Reagan Memorial Highway."
The Ronald W. Reagan Memorial Highway will be one of 7 known dedications in Florida, among over 100 in 28 states and 13 international dedications.
The ceremony dedicating the highway will be taking place at the corner of U.S. 1 and Greenland Rd. in Jacksonville, FL at 10:30am on August 27, 2009.
