Happy American Energy Independence Day!
On this day last year, Congress allowed the ban on Outer Continental Self drilling to expire paving the way for job creation and American energy independence.
Ironically today, these same principles are under attack in the Senate by Senators Boxer (D-Calif.) and Kerry (D-Mass.). They wish to eliminate 2.5 million American jobs by 2035, raise the cost of our energy, tax every American family, and increase our dependence on foreign energy sources.
