Today, the U.S. House passed a $3.5 billion budget mainly along party lines: 233-193 with 17 Democrats voting with Republicans. Only 6 members of the Blue Dog coalition voted against the budget. It’s disappointing that more of the Blue Dog coalition’s 51 members didn’t vote against this irresponsible and reckless proposal by the Pelosi-Obama- Reid troika.  However, some Democrats are already beginning to feel the pressure for their decisions to support the Stimulus package and the budget. Rep. Mike Acuri recently told constituents at a town hall that he “probably shouldn’t have voted for the Stimulus package.”

For those interested, here’s the list of Democrats that voted against the Budget:
Barrow
Boren
Bright
Childers
Foster
Griffith
Kratovil
Kucinich
Markey (CO)
Marshall
Matheson
McIntyre
Minnick
Mitchell
Nye
Taylor
Teague
