Gotta Love Howard Dean...
Thanks go to Howard Dean for being clear on why tort reform is not getting the attention it deserves: because congress is unwilling to take on the trial lawyers.
It should be mentioned, however, that tort reform—while needed for financial, philosophical, and moral reasons—will not be the only solution to the problem (saving us a large $80-$200 billion is great, but we’re still deep in the whole on the health care mess.)
