Really!?! DHS Targets Tea Parties?
From Brian M Johnson & Patrick Gleason on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 4:45 PMDHS Targets Tea Parties? Really!?!
Seriously? The Department of Homeland Security? The guys with the multi-billion dollar budget who are supposed to protect us from terrorists and other bad people are targeting the conservative grassroots tea parties? Really!?!
They have nothing better to do? Really!?!
So when you think terror, you think Edmund Burke admiring, tea wasting, tax hike loathing, free speech upholding, constitution loving protestors who took the day to symbolize their opposition to the current statist agenda. Really DHS? Really?!
They even commissioned a study: The "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment." No seriously, this is real, really real!
So our tax dollars aren't just going to bankruptcy bound auto companies and irresponsibile banks, they're going to fight the principles America was founded on! Really DHS? Really?!
Don't you have some pirates or something to worry about...

The danger to any particular individual or group? Step "outside" profile of a "normal" American & DHS may get told! Research it! Not just "news blurp". Find the specific results. Urban dwellers, see JTTF. Used an airline for travel? Google Searches ... 1.) homeland security 2.) National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) 3.) Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) Oregon 4.) youarebeingwatched.us - (tin-foil hats? or not?)

Well, you know, those placards and tea bags could be considered dangerous weapons. I can't believe that Obama has nothing better to do with our tax payer money than to do surveillance on peaceful protestors. If anything they should be doing something about ACORN, oops, sorry, I forgot, they helped get him elected. So my question is, what is he going to do with the information? Take down our names and kick us out of the country the way he kicks reporter off his plane????
>> Mary Ann Wednesday, April 15, 2009 8:59 AM
I, for one, didn't see anything in the pdf about tea party surveillance. This looks like it was mostly concerned with disgruntled veterans coming back and being recruited into using their training for terrorist activity, white supremacists, etc.
>> James Bowen Wednesday, April 15, 2009 9:25 AM
So let me get this straight. The Obama administration wants to ban the use of the phrase "war on terror" and pretend that very bad people don't want to do harm to us and instead are going to target veterans. Wow, just wow. Or as this post accurately puts it, REALLY!?!
>> Robyn M. Wednesday, April 15, 2009 10:02 AM
You know what else occurs to me is this. If George Bush had DHS investigate a group, oh I don't know, maybe someone like ACORN, suggested that they were somehow racist and dangerous, how FAST do you think Pelosi and Reid would start subpoenaing half of D.C. and start congressional hearings? It would make the Plame, Rove and Gonzalez hearings seem tame in comparison. I can't wait to what, if anything, they do with this such blatant abuse of power...

Yep, Our hard earned tax dollars at work. The bozos in DC have nothing better to do than to use DHS as a strong arm for the party elitsts. Kim Jong Il and Mao along with Stalin would be extremley proud of these Bozos.

Oboma won't call Islamic jihadists 'terrorists'. But the young men and women who fought for liberty in Iraq are now 'wannabe' terrorists. If you hate abortion you are a terrorist. Jihadists are kindly, but conservatives have made the terrorist watch lists. MZ. Napolitano is the reincarnation of the undead former AG Janet Reno. Think Waco when the government suspects & hates its own citizens.

Well, it looks like the Idiots that wanted a change, is sure as hell getting one. I'm wondering if the Idiots still think Obama walks on water. I am thinking , we shall soon find out.

napolitano should resign in shame....how could she possibly protest us when she has no clue about priorities....how about those dangerous left wing extremists...dohrn/alinsky/ayers? I EXPECT TO SEE A 9 PAGE PAPER ON THOSE LEFT WING ELEMENTS BEING RECRUITED BY THE HOLLYWOOD GOOFS...
