ATR re-launches Internet Site
Re-designed site (www.atr.org) is Interactive, loaded with features for activists

WASHINGTON-Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) re-launched its organizational web site: www.atr.org today. Built with the latest technology, the re-designed site has more interactive features and is easier to navigate.

Among the new features include:

  • http://getactive.atr.org: a powerful feature for today's e-activist. By simply entering in your zip code, an Internet user has access to their elected officials, how they voted on ATR's ratings, if they are a Taxpayer Protection Pledge signer and friend or enemy of the taxpayer. The web address, http://getactive.atr.org also has a local media guide and allows people to generate personalized e-mail to their elected officials and the media. This site also tracks PAC Contributions to elected officials and candidates.
  • http://www.atr.org/Calendar: ATR will update on a daily basis an interactive calendar of conservative events that are happening around the country.
  • Rotating Daily Features. Every day the site will be updated to reflect the day's events in politics. The main site will also feature the latest news from wire services.

"I am pleased with our new web site," said Grover G. Norquist, president of ATR. "This is one stop shopping for the center-right coalition."

The web site was designed in-house by David W. Kralik, Deputy Communications director with the help of Chris Stagg, an associate member of ATR.
