Pete Kesterson, who’s running for the United States House of Representatives in California’s 36th district, recently signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge. Kesterson joins Mattie Fein as the second person in the GOP Primary to sign the pledge.

Mr. Kesterson running in the GOP Primary for the opportunity to challenge Democratic incumbent Congresswoman Jane Harman. During her time in office, Harman has recieved low ratings from variousfical groups including Americans for Tax Reform. Congresswoman Harman's ATR lifetime rating is an abyssmal 21.4%.

By signing the pledge, Pete Kesterson has made it known to the taxpayers in California aware that he is looking out for their family budgets. Rep. Harman is not a pledge signer, but we here at ATR strongly encourage her and ALL candidates for Federal office to sign the Taxpayer Protection Pledge.
