The NFL season kicks off this week.  Whether you’re looking forward to seeing the rookie third rounder your team drafted, or even if you’re just curious about the new football season commercials, chances are you don’t want to think about Obamacare.  The Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens, however, have other plans.  They’re about to commit an unsportsmanlike penalty against football fans everywhere by shoving slick new Obamacare ads down fans’ throats.

The Baltimore Ravens, backed by Maryland’s Lt. Governor Anthony Brown want to push the tax-increasing healthcare law. The Maryland Health Connection reported that “71% of the uninsured population in Maryland have watched, attended, or listened to a Ravens game in the past 12 months.”  Last season, NFL broadcasts were viewed by 200 million people. In July the NFL already ruled that it would not partake in promoting Obamacare.

Obamacare is the last thing on a NFL fans’ mind, and rightfully so.
