Since most of the money allotted to the tax bill has not yet been spent, why can't we start a grass roots movement to repeal the bill?

I'm impressed that this forum is now so aware of gross spending habbits, but I wonder what it was doing during the past 8 years?

Taxes: I just know that we need to do something with this economy. And, as a life-long Republican, I fully, completely, and confidently support ANY agenda Mr. Obama proposes. I'm much more interested in the Steve Forbes, Mike Huckabee, or other plans to do away with all taxes except a national sales tax. Not only will a national sales tax be applied to everyone equally, it can be designed to alleviate any possibility of loopholes. Thank you.

This is my first visit to your web site and my first connection with your organization. I'm visiting because of an article I recently read in our gift subscription to Reader's Digest, and I was very interested in becoming a motivated part of such a group. However, I must say that, from what I've read so far on your site, I'm not inclined to give my support due to the fact that it seems like an espousing of the same old political, rhetorical complaining and moaning.

The groaning and complaining, is because of the "socialist agenda" of Obama! It does not take a genius to note that over 500,000 jobs in the stimulus "set aside" for foreign workers, while Americns are desperate for JOBS, is insane! ALIENS are getting Medicaid, food stamps, housing assistance, AND interpreters, our TAX $$ at work! WHILE OUR citizens are being ignored! JUST one of his wonderful plans at work....AGAINST TAXPAYERS!

Write letters to our congressmen and women. I once heard that one letter received represents many many more people's opinions. It's worth the price of a stamp to add our opinions to others that we agree with and to others we disagree with. Let's use our words in order to be effective and useful.

Obama and Polisi and the others in DC seem like they are all smoking crack and they are trying to destroy America! You do not keep spending money that you do not have, if you have a bank account and you keep sending people checks to pay your bills and do not have any money in your bank account, this is called hot checks and they will be bounched and you will pay the cost and you may even do jail time. So what is wrong with this picture in Washington D.C.?

It continues to amaze me that the Bush Bashers point to Bush Deficits when the Democrats controlled Congress for the last 2 years of Bush's administration. But let there be a Socialists Democrat President that has Deficits larger than the sum of all 43 Presidents before him, the Democrats Balanced Budget resolution is forgotten and everything is wonderful. Hypocrites all! This budget puts more people on the Gov payroll than NOT. How long do you, with your hands out, think that will last?

President Obama doesn't get it. It's less government and more freedom, not more government and less freedom. Wait till we have National Health Care, Americans will lose all of their money and freedom. If President Obama doesn't understand what higher taxes and more government does against Americans then all Americans lose. Goverment is not the anwser government is the problem, a road block in the way of Americans. This is why I ran for State Rep. in Michigan. Darrell ;)
