With the general election for state legislature occurring tomorrow in Virginia, many candidates have taken a firm stance to not raise taxes and have signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge. These candidates have pledged to the people of the Commonwealth that they will vote against all efforts to raise taxes in Richmond.
Washington, D.C. over the past three years has imposed higher federal taxes, costing the taxpayer hundreds of billions of dollars. It is critical at this time that those in Richmond stand with Virginia Taxpayers and oppose higher taxes. Those in the state legislature must work to oppose putting the burden of government on the backs of those hardworking people across the state of Virginia.
