Steve Minter’s article in Industry Week highlighted the work of Americans in Tax Reform in encouraging legislators to prevent the reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank.

While Donohue expressed confidence that the bank would be reauthorized, it faces powerful opposition from conservative groups such as Americans for Prosperity, the Club for Growth and Grover Norquist’s Americans for Tax Reform who argue the bank’s work could be done by the private sector and that it amounts to corporate welfare.

Americans for Tax Reform president Grover Norquist will be speaking at an Indiana Tax Summit today, hosted by Gov. Mike Pence, as detailed by an article from the Associated Press.

Conservative thought leaders Grover Norquist and Arthur Laffer are headlining Pence’s tax summit. The summit is set to run all day Tuesday.

Barb Berggoetz of the Indianapolis Star wrote an article previewing the Indiana Tax Competitiveness and Simplification Conference.

Every type of tax will be examined and debated during a conference Tuesday that is attracting the likes of noted economist Arthur Laffer and tax reformer Grover Norquist
