An appeal to the President to allow poor DC kids to have the same opportunity he had in education.
It's a sad testament to the power of teachers unions when these children have to appeal to the President in order to have the same opportunities he had. Since the teachers unions pretty much own the Democrats it may not work, but their attempt is valliant.
Also, check out this compelling post on the subject. Doubtful it will make a difference, but...
